The Brazilian Association of Semiotic Studies organizes its international congress April 4 to 7 at the Fluminense Federal University, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. This year's theme is "Crossings."
The congress will feature discussion tables, paper presentations and posters, as well as book launches and networking opportunities.
The list of speakers include Óscar Quezada (University of Lima), Claus Clüver (Indiana University), Jacques Fontanille (University of Limoges), Paolo Fabbri (Libera Università internazionale di Studi Sociali), Luiz Tatit (University of São Palulo) and Miguel Wisnik (University of São Paulo).
Registration costs BRL50 until Feb. 10 and BRL60 until March 10.
