Documentarists can submit their work to a festival that focuses on gender relations.

Nonprofit Fábrica de Imagens is organizing the Mostra Curta o Gênero, which will take place April 13 to 18, in Fortaleza, Brazil.

The event aims to raise awareness about gender relations and its intersections with violence against women, masculinity, fatherhood, sexual diversity, race and ethnicity, class, human rights, reproductive rights, education, and health, among other topics.

The festival will feature documentary, fiction and animation films. Eligible works must have been completed since 2012 and be less than 25 minutes long. International films must have Portuguese subtitles.
