Journalists interested in discussing the biggest challenges facing Europe are invited to join a temporary newsroom in Yerevan, Armenia.
Hostwriter, in partnership with Armenia's Youth Alliance via Networking, will select 10 journalists for the Agora Project, a program that will cover European topics from a cross-border perspective.
The program will start with a workshop in Yerevan in late March 2017. Participants will share their story ideas and possibilities for collaborative research. Sessions will focus on debate, hate speech, polarization in democratic societies and the role of the media around these issues.
After the workshop, participants will continue to exchange ideas and feedback and share their research through an online newsroom. They are expected to publish their pieces in their home countries.
The organizers will provide the three-day workshop, transportation to and from Armenia, accommodation in Yerevan and financial support for research.
