Budding journalists can apply for freelance and internship positions.
The Globe Post is looking for freelance reporters in Europe, Middle East, post-Soviet countries and East Asia, as well unpaid interns in Washington.
Reporters can develop their own story ideas or work on an assignment basis. They will work with experienced editors in North America and Europe. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail and good knowledge of the area or country they’re located. Preference will be given to stories about civil liberties, media freedom, political rights, humanitarian crisis and minorities at risk.
Interns will contribute on different subjects including the Trump administration, foreign affairs, health and fitness, in addition to curating viral content. The deadline to apply for the internship is Oct. 8.
