FNPI hosts workshop for journalists [Latin America]

Journalists and editors residing in Latin America with at least three years of professional experience and experience in regional analysis can apply to attend this program.

The Gabriel García Márquez Foundation for a New Ibero American Journalism (FNPI), the Inter-American Development Bank, ProColombia and Marca País, with the support of Andiarios, organize the Latin American Analysis Workshop for Journalists.

The workshop will take place April 24 to 28 in Bogotá, Colombia. Journalist Michael Reid will explore the transformation and political and socioeconomic challenges of Latin America with the aim of producing a relevant coverage of the realities in the region.

The workshop fee is US$250. Selected candidates will receive lodging, meals and medical insurance. There will be a refund of airline tickets of up to US$200 for international journalists and up to US$100 for Colombian journalists living outside Bogota.

The deadline is March 21.
