Anyone can attend this free, self-paced course.
The course is designed by the U.S. State Department and other organizations for non-native English speakers who are interested in developing the skills needed for journalism. Students are expected to spend 3 to 4 hours a week.
Participants will understand current issues facing journalists globally; improve their English vocabulary and grammar in order to write more effective stories; communicate more effectively with others in interviews and reports; and learn about issues of ethics, equality and fairness as they apply to journalism.
