Documentarians from Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and Yemen are invited to submit their work.
The Residency Fund, launched by DOX BOX, exclusively targets filmmakers from the Arab countries working on documentary film projects focusing on socio-political themes and that are reliant on archival material and in an advanced level of editing.
The fund provides the opportunity and resources to edit a film to completion in Berlin, Germany. This includes covering accommodation and costs of living in Berlin, as well as providing a fully-equipped professional editing suite, technical and artistic support, supervision by a team of experts.
The deadline is May 20.
