Deadline extended: UN hosts digital journalism training [MENA]

Palestinian journalists and other media practitioners can apply for this training.

The UN Department of Public Information's Palestine, Decolonization and Human Rights Section is organizing a training program covering journalism in the digital age, multimedia reporting and storytelling, data visualization, journalism for mobile platforms, online publishing, making data visual and interactive and social media.

The program aims to provide hands-on skills training on media-related topics as well as expose selected journalists to the work of the United Nations, especially its various activities affecting the lives of the people in the region. 

The dates and location of the training have not been announced.

Participants are usually 23 to 33 years old.

The deadline has been extended to June 12.
