Journalists, producers, presenters and researchers may apply for one position in this intensive course.
The Mary Raftery Journalism Fund, with the support of RTÉ, Ireland's national broadcaster, has secured space for one individual in RTÉ's two-week investigative journalism course. Interested individuals can apply to the fund to win the remaining space in the course.
The RTÉ Investigations Unit will lead the course with the aim of helping journalists better deliver long and short form investigative reports across television, radio, print and online. The course's interactive and practical training will teach advanced web skills, legal guidelines and principals, surveillance techniques, data harvesting and investigating financial irregularities.
The course will take place from May 26 to June 4 at RTÉ's headquarters in London.
The deadline to apply for the space designated to the Mary Raftery Journalism Fund is April 15.
