CUNY Graduate School of Journalism offers summer internship, training [US]

Recent graduates or college seniors who attend a Historically Black College or a Hispanic-Serving Institution and/or are a member of a minority journalist association can apply for an internship.

The CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, with support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, will launch an internship program in June 2017.

The Knight-CUNYJ Summer Internship Program will bring 20 aspiring journalists to New York to participate in an all-expenses-paid training and internship program.

The eight-week program is open to members of the following organizations: the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA), the South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA), the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) and the Arab and Middle Eastern Journalists Association (AMEJA).

The deadline to apply is Jan. 17, 2017.
