Contest for short films open [Russia, Germany]

Filmmakers from Russia and Germany can compete.

The contest "Vkratce!" will be held as part of a Russian and German short films festival, organized by Russia's Agency for Cultural Initiatives with the support of the Robert Bosch Foundation. The event will take place in March 2017 in Volgograd, Russia.

The theme of the contest is "The nature of the city." Short fiction, documentary and animation must be no longer than 15 minutes and have been created after Jan. 1, 2014.

Russian films must include English or German subtitles, and German films must include Russian subtitles.

Winners will receive diplomas and trophies.

Participation is free. The deadline is Jan. 10, 2017.
