Filmmakers from Russia and Germany can compete.
The contest "Vkratce!" will be held as part of a Russian and German short films festival, organized by Russia's NGO Open City with the support of the Goethe Institute. The event will take place in April 2018 in Volgograd, Russia.
Short fiction, documentary and animation must be no longer than 20 minutes and have been created after June 1, 2016.
Russian films must include English or German subtitles, and German films must include Russian subtitles.
Winners will receive diplomas and trophies.
Participation is free. The regular deadline is Dec. 20. The late deadline is Jan. 5, 2018.
