Print, broadcast and online journalists can compete for cash prizes.
The Brazilian Association of Psychiatry (ABP) has launched the fifth edition of the ABP Journalism Prize, which values the work of journalists who inform the public about mental illness, chemical dependency and psychiatry, combating prejudice against the mentally ill.
Works must have been published or broadcast between June 15 and July 31, 2018. The four categories are press, online, TV and radio.
The winners of each category will receive BRL5,000 each, as well as a trip to the awards ceremony on Oct. 17 in Brasília.
