The New York-based Committee to protect Journalists (CPJ) has recently published the Arabic and Spanish versions of its safety guide for reporting in hazardous situations that was originally published in English. The guide, "On Assignment: Covering Conflicts Safely," includes information every journalist in a hot zone should consider, including health precautions, knowing the geographic hotspots, staying in touch with editors, clothing and culture, in addition to a list of suggested readings and resources.
