Jennifer Dorroh is a digital journalist, editor and media trainer. IJNet's former director, she is developing a new blog from the Knight International Journalism Fellows on global media innovation. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
As IJNet director, she led a revamp of the site's editorial focus and outreach, tripling the number of unique visitors to the site. A former managing editor of American Journalism Review, she has lived and worked as a journalist in Mexico and Slovenia and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize. She has a master's degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Kentucky. She is proficient in Spanish.
