Report studies the methods of media freedom evaluation

The Center for International Media Assistance (CIMA) recently released a report detailing the strengths and weaknesses of existing media freedom indexes.
The report, “Evaluating the Evaluators: Media Freedom Indexes and What They Measure,” also offers recommendations to improve media freedom indexes.
The report was written by John Burgess, a former Washington Post reporter and editor who specializes in international affairs and technology.
