Lorenzo Natali Prize to award development reporting

Journalists reporting on development, democracy and human rights can now apply to the Lorenzo Natali Journalism Prize, offered by the European Commission. Deadline: August 31.
Applicants from Africa, Asia and Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe and the Arab World and the Middle East may apply.
Each applicant may deliver one extract from or entire journalistic work printed or aired between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010. Prizes total €60 000 (about US$78,330).
